16th Annual Golf Tournament
June 7, 2010

The Foundation held its 16th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Edgewood Country Club's Derrick's Creek Golf Course.  The golf scramble, with shotgun starts at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., continues to be one of the most popular golfing events around.  Trophies and prizes are awarded to the winners of the morning and afternoon rounds.  Net proceeds will help support the TMH Foundation and its charitable activities such as the Children’s Health and Safety Fair, Drive-Thru Flu Shot Program, Home Health Holiday baskets and many more. We would like to thank all of the sponsors and participants who made this such a successful event.

5K Walk/Run Fitness Event
August 8, 2009

Thomas Memorial Hospital's 28th Annual Walk/Run was held on Saturday, August 8th. This event attracts serious runners and walkers, as well as others who want to come out just for fun and receive the benefits of exercise. Over the years, the event has become a family affair; four-legged family members are welcome. The races begin at the fire station in the Loop of St. Albans and participants wind their way through the streets with the finish line back at the fire station. Prizes are awarded for the winners in various categories. It is a fun time and we hope that you will join us this year.

Charity Gala and Auction
November 7, 2009

Thomas Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 16th Annual Charity Gala & Auction was held on Saturday, November 1st at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Over 450 local physicians, hospital administrators, business professionals and community leaders attended this popular black-tie event. This event grossed more than $380,000. The evening begins with cocktails and a silent auction. A formal dinner follows with acknowledgement of our sponsors. A live auction was followed by dancing and music was provided by a well-known local band, The Production Company. It is a great time and we hope that you will join us this year.
